Headlight Restoration

Dull & faded headlights are not only unsightly but can also significantly reduce nightime visibility. Did you also know that a faded headlight could also fail your vehicles MOT?

Modern car headlights leave the factory with a protective coating designed to increasae the life of the clear plastic sections. Over time, exposure to UV light and the elements causes the coating to degrade resulting in a faded cloudy appearance. This cloudyness can significantly reduce the effectiveness of headlights at night or on a dull day. This can be dangerous and as such can be an MOT failure.

With the cost of a replacement headlight unit running sometimes in to hundreds of pounds, having your headlights professionally restored is both convenient & cost effective.

Following multiple stages of wet sanding and compounding to remove the degraded UV coating, the headlights are then compounded and refined before being coated with a UV coating to protect from further damage. with significant improvements being made to your headlights, you can also benefit from significant savings vs the cost of replacement untis.
